Urban the ethics police

I would respect him much more if he owned being a scumbag. Urban as the morality in sports guy I just cant stomach
That’s my issue with Saban sometimes but I give him a pass because he’s good with Mario.

I don’t expect them to say they cheated but just keep your ******* mouth shut about the rules being lax and some teams are taking advantage of them.

Why do college football broadcasters insist on bringing the biggest, insufferable asshats in the sport as panelists (Holtz, Saban, and Meyer)? Pro football does a better job of getting personable guys for the job (JJ and Cowher).

Corso was good in his day.

Is there anyone UM hates more coaching wise?
ND homer fan, OSU and UF HC.

Hes our version of CMR. Richt is the most hated person ever from UF. FSU coach in their prime. UM alum/HC & UGA HC

Urban, the 1 percent of the 1 percenters, needs to be ordained as the commissioner of college football.

This isnt a horrible take. However we feel about the man, CFB does need some structure. We'd be pretty ****ed right now if another school came and signed Damon Wilson for example. I actually dont hate on Dabo coming out and calling Ole Miss out. Things need to change in CFB.

Yeah and what we would do without Urban Meyer coming in with the piping hot original take that the portal rules are bad?

The same guy that was hiding the fact that his serial killer player was shooting people in Gainesville. Then he went on to run just as dirty of a program in Columbus

Did get a big laugh out of ***'s ego-driven rant from his less than one-and-done season in JAX.

From ESPN in 2022:

The lawsuit alleges that Josh Lambo's performance suffered after he was verbally and physically abused by Meyer. It also claims that Meyer threatened to release Lambo after Lambo spoke up in his defense. Lambo said Meyer kicked him in the leg while he was stretching in warm-ups before a practice during the week of the final preseason game. Lambo said Meyer told him, "Hey dips---, make your f---ing kicks!" and then kicked him in the leg.

Lambo says he told Meyer: "Don't you ever f---ing kick me again!" Lambo said Meyer then told him, "I'm the head ball coach. I'll kick you whenever the f--- I want." The lawsuit alleges Lambo told his agent, Richard Irvin, about the incident and Irvin notified the Jaguars' legal counsel the following day.

The lawsuit alleges that Meyer approached Lambo a day later and threatened to cut him if he objected to his behavior or challenged his authority again by saying: "f you ever speak to me like that again, you'll be out of here. You're the first player I've ever let speak to me that way in my career, and if you do it again, you're gone."

Phoniest douchebag in CFB history — but I'd still bet a majority of UF fans would've been thrilled if Meyer had been brought back as Napier's replacement
