Urban Meyer out there unemployed

Why don’t we go higher and get rid of Frenks? From what I’ve seen, he has done NOTHING for this school . It’s still poorly run, and academics are slipping back to Sun Tan U levels. EVERYTHING about UM is so poorly run it’s a wonder the place isn’t bankrupt. Seriously, would you send your kid to Miami for the Ivy League tuition they charge? Just not worth it when UF, a state school, has become the better choice (I hate this.). It’s not only sports that are suffering.

We'll see, it's early days. There's been a lot of positive things with Diaz - obviously we've lost the first two games so a lot of that is for naught at the moment.

That said, I think he's a man of his word - he said if he got on the plane to Philly he wouldn't have come back.
 
Urban would laugh in our face when come at him with our 5 mil a year offer. This cheap *** program will not spend the money necessary to win.

I don't know if we got strong armed - I do think Blake James really, really wanted Diaz though.

I remember everybody on here clowning LSU for hiring coach O, well at least that man can recruit and is smart enough to sit back and be a CEO. Diaz has a single positive quality and it's the ability to speak well which is not particularly important if you can't do any of the other stuff.

This and only this. Miami hiring Urban Meyer is basically saying “ potentially winning one championship is worth the death penalty”. Urban would 100% get Miami so far offside with the media and NCAA so quickly it would be a tailspin this program wouldn’t pull out of.

If the university would consider Urban Meyer for head coach they might as well go all in and hire El Chapo Guzman as Athletic Director.

If he had “heart problems” at Florida and THE Ahia State University, being at Miami will kill him. Good coach, but he’s an urchin. No way Frenk signs off on that guy. Besides, Miami doesn’t do national searches for coaches, to your point about having no chance at that guy, or anyone like him.

That would be worth it. Football is gone in 5-10 years anyway. Shoot shot now.
