NFL Urban Meyer out as HC.

Awful fit. Not from a scheme standpoint (even though he failed tremendously there), but you could just tell his personality would not mesh with grown *** men.

I guess next year we’ll find out if Lawrence is an NFL QB or not.

We see once again that only a verrrrry few are cut out to be be great college coaches and even just good pro coaches. It's why Jimmy is/was so special.

I even view Ol' Urbie as a more versatile college coach than Sabag and he just got embarrasingly destroyed by the pro game.

I know he has been a disaster in the NFL, but I hope he stays the **** away from the SEC and ACC because he is a very good college coach and an elite recruiter.
I know it's technically SEC but bury his *** in Texas. I think he'd have his hands full enough recruiting that state to be a yuge problem for us. Preferably wouldn't want him any more east than Austin.

There aren’t really any jobs available in the SEC for him to go to, until Auburn fires Harsin next year, or Lane leaves Ole Miss & I don’t think Urby would go to either one of those programs.

As far as the ACC, only FSU & Clemson could afford him; Dabo doesn’t appear to be leaving Clemson any time soon, but maybe he does & FSU after they fire Norvell might be an option, but I don’t know if he’d really be interested in that job.

Notre Dame might be kicking themselves for not waiting & hiring Freeman as fast as they did, because the ND job was always Urby’s dream job & that was really the gig he was waiting for when he left Oh St.

Penn St is probably mad they overpaid to keep Franklin because they probably could’ve got Urby too.

I think Texas might be a legit possibility if they decide to fire Sark & get Urby, but that depends on if he’s willing to wait a full season, I don’t think they wanna fire Sark until the end of next year because they’re still paying Herman, but if they think they can get Urby they may just bite the bullet & pull the trigger.

Urby doesn’t strike me as the type to take any mid level jobs, he thinks he’s a God amongst mere mortals, so only a big name premier program would be good enough for him & most of those jobs are already filled.

I think Texas or very very slim chance maybe FSU would be the only places he’d consider.
