Urban Meyer caught & denying negative recruiting AGAIN

Is it really negative recruiting if they tell recruits they molest boys up in pedo valley?

If Meyer were willing to come to Coral Gables, I'd fire Richt on the spot to hire him. Nothing against Richt but...

Honestly I'm not obsessed with how Miami players do in the NFL like some people are. I don't care that much if Meyer's players don't do well in the pros. I care a whole lot more about how they do as CFB players.

Of course it's negative recruiting.

I just fail to see what's morally wrong with Urban doing that.

Although you can argue it's a bit hypocritical since Meyer employs Schiano as DC.

Franklin should quit being a whiny baby. He can tell recruits "one of the main guys who covered up for Sandusky will be your DC at Ohio State."

I didn't even think of that.

Franklin had a bunch of rapists as players at Vandy. Although to be somewhat fair he had nothing to do with Sandusky.

Several people wanted Miami to hire Franklin if PSU hired Golden. That would've been horrible also. The short term pain will be worth it soon.
 
I remember some NFL teams were interviewing Franklin for HC job.

I don't know who's had an even bigger and more unbelievable downfall: him or Gus Malzahn.

Franklin has every right to be upset if rival coaches were telling recruits Penn State will or could be sanctioned again for Sandusky's crimes. I did not read this in the article. Franklin should work harder to be a better coach and recruiter. Good luck passing Meyer, D'Antonio, and Harbaugh.

EVERYONE should negatively recruit Ped State. What happened there should have resulted in a permanent end to the football program.

So after Franklin talked, Urban met with him privately.....I wonder if Schiano is the one doing the badmouthing. He certainly knows plenty about PSU & Sandusky. Glad UM didn't hire Schiano.
 
F- Penn State. Seriously. The amount of recruits commiting there is unreal.
 
Franklin did a very good job at Vanderbilt and exceeded expectations... But this is just a bunch of whiny crap. He went from a job where 7-5 was acceptable to a job that expects mores. He will be Harbaugh, Meyer, and D'Antonio's doormat for 5 yrs and be looking for employment elsewhere. Negative recruiting is part of it. You seel your program and tell what the others lack. Plain and simple. I hate Meyer more than any other coach but nothing to see here IMO.
