Franklin should have known this was going to come. That's what happens when a school allows its coach to protect a child molester. This is also coming from a guy who left a school that is still dealing with sexual assult cases that happened under his watch, with one guy doing 15 yrs. Coaches have a right to ask recruits if that's where they want to be and play under for 3-4 years....And Penn St. fans can kiss my *** too. They still think Paterno is the greatest thing since slice bread. Didn't they put his statue back?

Not to stand up for Urban or anything but Penn state dug their own grave and has kept digging for 3-4 years with this Paterno BS. Franklin just comes off looking weaker than he already is with these Beta comments. Negative recruiting is part of the game and i just don't see OSU or anyone else for that matter having to hammer home to recruits how ****** of program PSU is right now when everyone is already aware.
 
Its the staff's JOB to negatively recruit against the competition...either overtly or subtly..."our program is the best fit for you and here's why..."

Did Franklin also call his mommy and daddy because the other kkds are being mean to him on the playground?

I'm pretty sure every coach in the country was telling South Florida kids that Miami was getting the death penalty during the Shaprio scandal. Negative recruiting happens all the time.

And both Al Golden and Greg Schiano helped cover it up.

Although Urban still thinks enough of Schiano to keep him on staff.

I wonder if we'd have to fire Schiano if he were head coach right now. With the new revelations about him and Sandusky.

That would have been quite something to have 5 head coaches in 3 years. (Golden,Scott, Schiano, the interim coach after Shiano was fired, and a permanent head coach in 2017.)
