We didn't tell any of our DL recruits that Franklin was leaving. Golden is just as big a scumbag as any other scumbag coach. He just doesn't win ****.

Gibbons' DL Richard McIntosh, who signed w/UM Wed, said he learned of Franklin's departure earlier. "It's a positive and negative thing."

Why single Urban out, when the UF DL coach, Texas DL coach and UCLAs defensive coach all did the same? It happens everywhere.

UT recruit said he point blank asked Charlie Strong about their guy. Strong told him he turned down the UF offer...then next day hes gone.

Kids should fall in love with the school and not with a coach or coaches. When I committed way back when, our whole coaching staff left after my freshman year. It turned out to be a really good thing because the new staff was by far better and brought in a lot of good players we probably wouldn't have gotten due to their contacts around the country. And it's funny how winning cures a lot of ills.
