Myself and others have been stressing about it ever since he committed. I really think he should be on offense at Receiver. He can play both ways but that talent.... You want that talent scoring TDs.

Richards is playing as the best receiver in the state right now regardless of class year. The season he is having is off the charts.

Idc what you wanna say about Ridley or anyone else. Ahmmon Richards right now.... Is the best in the state. Not even Ridley was playing at the level Richards is right now last year and partially this year. Say what you want but the proof is in the pudding.

The season Richards is having... it's simply other-wordly. For anyone who was adamant about him being purely a safety, eat some crow.

For the others who have expressed that he is a two way star. Thank you for seeing that as well.

Ahmmon has 20 receiving TDs through 10 games. He made a commitment before the season to make his team better, he was about to transfer over to Dwyer but stuck it out and Wellington improved drastically and finished the regular season 9-1.

Give props to the kid. It would be a travesty if this kid is not ranked a 5 star after the season he just had. Explosive as you can get. His recruitment is going to heat up like **** now. Watch.

Ahmmon is just ridiculous.

Throughout this season, he's become my favorite of all that are "currently" committed.

Got that AJ Green kind of feel to 'em.

There isn't anything that he can't do as a receiver. Unstoppable.

I still think hes a safety

Bro he is not a safety he is a elite wr

The fact that all of his highlights are at reciever is just the obvious. Kid is a monster and I pray they continue to recruit him as one.

By the way. Richards qb. Shannon Patrick, is former cane great Kevin Patricks nephew. Been mentioned before by another poster.

Ahmmon Richards has stated that he wants to play WR (rememer travis rudolph) yet some people in here want to force the kid into playing on defense.

What type of comp is Richards facing? Is it that bad or is he just on another level?

No offense to Pete. And even other peeps. Even take some things I say with a grain of salt too. Not every call is gonna be right.

But when Pete said that Richards was being taken as a DB, I disagreed right away.

And with that said. I have my doubts about Snelson decommiting at all. My reasoning.. Been very pro Miami, Yearby nephew, and he has always liked Miami even from the past before committing, and also Kaaya here now and he would come in with Allison.

If I'm wrong, I'll come and eat crow.

If I'm wrong, I'm wrong.

But I also felt that Cronk would decommit if Walton reclassified and moment it came out, Cronk decommited.

Also same way I've always felt strong about Dexter Williams commit.

Sometimes rumors.... are just rumors.

I've made bad calls in past. ****, I thought Carlton Davis was ours.

Sometimes you just gotta let recruiting play out.

I didn't think Travis Rudolph played awesome competition but I thought he was a stud regardless.

Ridley doesn't play the best competition every week and he's a stud too.

When a kid can ball he can ball. That's the way I view it.

His school is in 8A so it's not some 2A private schools he's playing. If his team takes care of business in PBC which in all likely hood they should, they'll be playing the 8A Broward County winner (most likely Flanagan). If they make it past that test then they get the big dogs from Dade (most likely Killian) so come Thanksgiving weekend he's going to get a chance to really challenge himself. Can't wait.

Everyone saying a taller Stacy Coley or AJ Green comparisons....

I see Horace Copeland in this kid. I loved Copeland's game.

Tall, Fast, Super athletic and big plays.

Let Ahmmon play whatever position he wants. The way he can stop and cut on a dime, I liked the idea of him as a DB.

But as has been said, he's the type of guy you just need to get on campus and let compete at whatever position he can get on the field first.
