The path to success is not a straight line. Sometimes it comes with setbacks and sometimes it comes with unexpected surprises. That’s why looking at one game or only a few games tells you very little. We need to see how this looks over the course of a couple of seasons. Unfortunately for Manny, time is not on his side. His leash with the fan base is much shorter than it should be because of what we’ve endured the last 15 years. If Manny can’t get it done, the next guy will have it even worse. That’s not a recipe for success.
