Update on 2017 WR Jeremiah Holloman

all dorset did was run straight as fast as he could. i see more than that out of harley

I was making a physical comparison.

Dorsett was a first round NFL. Gimmie a break on bashing the kid.

I like phillip..but before his final season here, he was very mediocre..very dropsy. On a side note, remember how drops-y greg olsen was here? i have friends that have just forgotten about that.

based on track speed at the combine. kid is not producing like a 1st round talent.
His first year healthy with hilton and moncrief to get reps against and andrew luck injured and you are surprised he isnt lighting the world on fire?

Keep hearing how Eason "played well" but every Georgia came I've seen he's looked very mediocre outside of his arm strength

That "hail marry" he threw against GT was pretty pedestrian regarding arm strength.

Never said he had elite arm strength but in his defense that throw was off one foot while trying to avoid pressure. Either way the guy is super overrated. Not to say that he can't improve bc he's still young.
gfer1988:

I said at the Army All-American game that dude looked overrated, just like Olsen did at the UA All American game. It doesn't help that he has pedestrian o-coordinators as well.

Eason will be a first round draft pick after his junior year, had horrible coaching this year for a starting freshman in SEC.

Explain that flawed logic. He's gonna magically become a 1st td pick while playing in the same offense and coaching you're blaming for his struggles. How does that make any sense?

How isn't every high school WR salivating at starting day one with a senior QB and waiting in the wings are two 4 star QB's. This should be easy.

I mean the other school is UGA(home state school) and have a 5* QB who played pretty well this season. Plus no guarantee Kaaya is coming back.

Well my point goes beyond Holloman. We need 3-4 receivers who can contribute day 1 and we're not even close to having that.

Having 3-4 WRs who can contribute from the beginning would be incredible and would go a very long way towards solving our talent and depth issues at the position. With that said, I just don't see that as being realistic or even necessary for that matter. We have a stud freshman in Richards who will certainly be the no1. We also have Lawrence Cager who will hopefully be back 100% but we'll see. We will also have Senior Braxton Berrios who should be a solid contributor and elite prospect Dionte Mullins coming off a redshirt his freshman year. This isn't even factoring in the targets that TEs Chris Herndon and Michael Irvin(assuming Njoku declares) will see in addition to Mark Walton being a huge threat in the passing offense. I almost forgot Dayall Harris but so far he seems like a certified JAG at this point.

I fully expect Darrell Langham to move on leaving the incoming freshmen as the only source of depth to the projected WR corps listed above. Right now the only WR I fully expect in this class is Evidence Njoku and I seriously doubt that he will be ready to be a day one contributor. The rest of the WR in the class will from a group consisting of Devonta Smith, Jerry Jeudy(yes I do believe recent events have made this a distinct possibility), Mike Harley and Jeremiah Holloman. I believe that anyone in this group could be ready to play immediately with Jeudy being the most polished. I believe we will at most have 2-3 new WRs who are ready to play right away with a JUCO addition being a possibility.

dayall is a certified jag who has done more in here in his first year than cager and mullins in theirs. lol

Just confirming he and his family really ****ed over our staff. He committed on Tuesday night and still didn't let the staff know he had committed. Then he used the weather as an excuse. GTFOH

So i guess this confirms he was just using the weather as an excuse. Gave him the benefit of the doubt but I guess I was wrong. Time to move on to other targets.
