I think if this is up to Miami's admission's office, Richt will make sure he's in. He has no control if it's up to the NCAA.

This is an NCAA thing, there's no way admissions would drag this long(Contrary to popular belief). If he got an exemption, that was decided months ago.

How is it an NCAA thing when he's still taking online courses to get admitted to UM? He just finished his latest online courses, and admissions is probably making sure all his **** lines up. Who knows when they got the results from his online classes?

Those online classes can and most likely will get flagged by the NCAA. With the proliferation of diploma mills, the NCAA will take a look, especially when someone is cutting it this close to the beginning of the year. Admissions on the other hand has already green lit him taking the classes, and provided he passes he will be fine on their end. Just remember, it was most likely the admissions office, in conjunction with the football program that told him exactly what he had to take and where he should take it. That said, it's amazing how long this is taking, and I can only imagine how bad his transcripts were before he started working on this.

If it was solely a UMiami thing, the rumor would read more like "Miami is just waiting on his grades from the online classes", instead of the total uncertainty we're hearing now. I wouldn't be shocked if the NCAA Clearinghouse told Miami(or someone found out) that he is going to be flagged, regardless of what happens. As we all know with the NCAA, they love to take their sweet time in regards to these things, especially when Miami is involved. All of this is mere conjecture though, who knows exactly what is going on, outside of a small circle in admissions/athletics.
