What wr are we taking that we aren't gonna pay him tho? He isn't gonna get an NIL too big for us not to match anyway. His is a much different situation than flowers

I get why the kids want to reclassify but I have to image no staff likes it’s for reasons you stated above.

I'm a Mesidor guy.........If Nyjalik had his type of coaching through n through n TOOK to it..yes because he has a higher ceiling. Now that dog............
Im looking at him more of a multiple year jt product. Mesidor like a 6th year player.

I love what we got. i just was stating if he didnt have that situation it would be clearly an elite DL.
 
Dopson reclassify is prety much a done deal. Norland isnt gonna compete for a chip next year and he doesnt have any reason to stay he has already went against the who's who of wrs the last 2 years.

I wouldnt want Lil Nick to reclassify he needs to gain more weight n s&c....there is no need for him to be rushing to get up to me. But who knows how his fam feels.

With NIL now, I think we’ll start seeing more and more players reclassify. Hard to turn down a big pay check at 16 and being patient.

I feel that. But for those struggling, ain’t no way you take a chance and play another year of HS when you have a chance to make some money and have moms quit her dead end job. Next year ain’t promised, especially in a sport like football. In Europe they going pro in soccer and cricket at 15/16

nic took it to Dobson. Nic looks like a 5* more so than Russell excluding the S&C as he is smaller.

I think we would take 6 wr if they both wanted in simply due to the change to 105 but NIL backing would be needed so Mario going 12-0 is likely key. I also don’t believe Nic will have the grades/classes from the little I’ve heard. Maybe as a nonee

Has Flowers even played for UF yet? That’s the problem I have with the “reclassify so I can get my money now” theory..we are paying you to play and perform immediately not have you sit the bench until you can catch up maturity wise. A guy like Dopson looks ready now.

This kid has none of the traits of a recruiting clown. IMO the only reason he’s looking is because his NIL agent is telling him that’s what he needs to do to up the contract value. That’s what I would tell him. I think he’s a Cane in the end, possibly a little more expensive.

I don’t expect that 44th ranking to last once he reclassifies. Likely to drop to 200-250 would be my best guess. Just look at what they did to Toney, whoops on their part.

I don’t know. We did alright with Blount and Toney. Given the local talent pool it probably works in our favor. I hear the argument we’re paying for a kid to sit a year or two. But we did that for Samson and it was worth it. And it’s life changing for those families.

Agree. So far it doesn’t look like we’re hurting for $. Would imagine the budget will go up even more with the winning. Players aren’t the only thing Mario is good at recruiting. $$$
