Not at all shocked to hear this. We all knew Belichick at this stage in his career was doomed to fail at UNC.

Head coaching P4 college football is a young man’s game - a young, hungry, tenacious, ambitious man’s game.

Belichick was dumb for hurting his legacy by making this completely unnecessary move.

Has Flowers even played for UF yet? That’s the problem I have with the “reclassify so I can get my money now” theory..we are paying you to play and perform immediately not have you sit the bench until you can catch up maturity wise. A guy like Dopson looks ready now.
I think it still benefits the program getting a kid inside the building and getting him used to college. Even if they dont play day 1. I know you are likely paying them but we have paid 5 star players and didnt get much of out them in year 1.

Martha’s Vineyard.

Justification/Spin is he went up to Boston to see a recruit just like James Franklin did. Of course what they don’t say Franklin went back State College afterwards while Belicheck and his GF went to Martha’s Vineyard for a little vacation.
He was on the South Coast in Marion for the Tabor / Milton Academy game. I believe we have a coach from Tabor on here that could corroborate.

*I’m sure he did some vacationing following*

Didn’t realize how bad of a staff he actually put together.

You got old dudes that been fired from multiple places. Bob Diaco, Freddie Kitchens, Garrick McGee, and Will Friend.

You got the family and friends guys. Steve Belicheck, Brian Belicheck, Mike Lombardi, Mike Lombardi, and Jamie Collins

Or you got young dudes in their 1st major college coaching job. A familiar name on that list.

You got former NFL players coaching in college
Hilarious that people thought this dude was going to be the goat in college without TB. I told them day 1 this would be a disaster it had disaster written al over it from jump. Should of sat back retired and not tarnish your legacy, because now more people will remember this more than the actual victories.
