I am a little concerned that some of the best talent of this team at certain positions are incoming freshman. I have heard the coaches go on the record to say the freshman have to play and usually the learning curve is usually brutal for most true freshman. With that being said, I am I have no idea how many wins may be lost or sacrificed in 2023 for the sake of freshman experience in hopes to have a more seasoned but young team in 2024. Then you have to worry about losing recruits via de-commitment or not committing at all.

I am both excited and nervous for 2023. Hopefully everything falls into place and we have a better record, we play the key freshman, get 7-8 wins and close with a strong recruiting class but it could also go the other way. UM football is so **** hard to predict nowadays. Before 2022, no way I would have envisioned 5-7.

At this point I would really love to beat that Clemson *** I'm fvvking sick of there ****.

Guidry will have us as a top 25 defense.

Colbie leads the team in Rec. TDs but not yards.

Best OL in ACC

Kam, Francisco, Cohen & Lee get All ACC honors

Francis is a freshman All American
I actually like the Guidry take. I think we finish with a higher ranked defense than offense and think we land close to top 25 d. I think he’s that good of a coordinator

Agree. His scheme is awesome. Really strong vs the run & the pass. I know it takes time for a scheme to be implemented and ran to perfection, but he's cooking with better talent than he's ever had. I think the defense can pop early and keep us in games if the offense sputters ever.

I think the O can be top 25 too depending on health

That OL struggling against the second team d line in the spring game was troubling. Maybe Zion will help. Maybe the DL is that good.

Otherwise I think you're right.
If our Canes are relying on Zion to help, maybe they should take a waiver amd pass on the entire 2023 season.

Is that possible?
