On the flip side, our run blocking is atrocious.

We cannot get any push from the oline nor can we open up holes for our extremely talented running back core.

I dont know if its scheme or talent but, at times, it is very hard to watch.

Agreed, we should have some more diversity in the run game as well to help with these issues.

Last year we had problems at tackle, this year problems at guard. Zion and Williams played solid. Would have liked to see Reed and Rivers get some snaps for Clark and Scaife.

I got the feeling after watching tonight that NC St doesn’t have a very good defensive front.

They actually have a pretty good interior; if I'm not mistaken, one of their nosetackles is one of the more disruptive players in the ACC.

Regardless, we've made some terrible defensive fronts look like the Steel Curtain, so it was nice to see a very solid performance out of the big boys.
