My exact point. They have about 25 players out for the year/game. We basically played against their third string roster in every sense. We need to get our heads out of the sand and start playing good defensive ball, CANE's style!!
 
someone needs to step away from the keyboard.... and crack.

Also, the use of the enter key on the keyboard is nice new trick for internet usage.
 
The biggest problem with our defense is 3rd downs, Knowles, and the occasional overpursuit against the run. We fix that and this is a top 20 defense.
Our offense otoh is atrocious. Our offensive line cannot run block....period. They also allow a lot of pressure on pass pro. Rosier makes poor decisions about half the time, which along with a nonexistant running game accounts for a ton of 3 and outs. Our Berrios and co made some highlight catches all game long to win it for us. Need Oline and Malik to step it up or we’ll lose the next 2.

DBs have to turn their heads when playing man on Defense... Bandy is so so fast we should blitz him ... bash bros haveeee to step up and get off blocks...O line needs to protect better and Dominate ....ahmon needs to tighten up. Diaz needs to get this defense under control and figure out the correct way to substitute and to play the best players.

NC's FIRST touchdown was on redwine who was lined up on the goal-line 10 yards away from wr and when the ball was hiked he back peddled.. lol that is crazy...

There it is Bro. Couldn't have said it better myself. Defensively we just don't seem to know what the **** we are doing out there and it has not gotten better from week to week. I would love to be in one of VA Tech or ND offensive meeting as they go over our game film. These guys must be salivating.

It we were having a couple of defensive or offensive issues, they you could blame the players. With the myriad of issues we are having on both sides of the ball, and the comments he made after the game, you have to look at MR as the root cause. Reminds me of the way he coached at GA.
 
We end up with a lot of holes, but the idea of the blitz is to create pressure and turnovers. We have achieved that, but that is a very high risk high reward strategy. With that said, when you add in the fact that our offense typically sucks in the first half with lots of 3 and outs, we are still a top 30 defense in a lot of categories (total yards,Pass yds, ints, sacks, ppg). Run defense is bad, but still top 50. As bad as they look the numbers are there. This isn't Golden's 100+ ranked defense where yards dont matter one year and points dont matter another.

We are ranked 9th in the polls Bro. Our offense and defense should also be ranked in that area accordingly, not 30th, 50th or 100th.
