This board is soo negative with 5 yr canes fans, it is really disgusting. Been a fan for 40 years , went to college football
games with Dad way back when. Always enjoyed the canes games, this board lately, not so much. We've been a dumpster
fire for 13 years and everybody expects it to be fixed in 2+ years of recruiting, Pathetic fan base.

Went to my first cane game in 1979, 39 years ago, am I allowed to be negative. Just want to make sure I know the rules
 
You say negative but others could just as easily say it's being real. But then again if you really payed attention before the fact you could already see the issues with personnel management both in our recruiting and the way it's handled on the football field to know it's only a matter of time. Add in a coach who thinks he's the smartest man in the room and refuses to learn from mistakes and just like magic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's Golden all over again, just different specific problems.

It’s not that anyone expects it to be fixed year three. It’s that we want to see progress year three. We can go 2-6 against power 5 teams year three and expect to be getting better. He needs to fix the play caller in a hurry or there will be minimal fan support like Golden had.

caneshomer, I've been a fan since I first enrolled at UM in 1964. You could've written the exact same post during Shannon's or Golden's reigns. Continually asking for patience wears thin when you have fans who have been waiting for almost a generation.

Posters have every right to express their frustration and disappointment. The AD has GOT to know that attendance is closely tied to the success of the program. Time for some BOLD moves, if our AD and Administration has it in them, which I question! There are probably 30 coaches out there right now who could double our production on offense with the talent we have (including our weak OL and shaky QB play).

I.was a fan when you were still a hopeful.twinkle in your daddies eyes. Cheering for participation tropheys is for the weak. Almost 3 full years and look worse than when Richt took over. Being real is being honest

We're in year 3 Bud. Offense gets worse every year while the defense gets better.

FOH. Been following Miami for 30+ years BTW.

News flash!!! The 5 yr fans think this is cool,.. A good season! They've not been around to see "good"..and only seen on tv what "great" looks like!
Those of us *****in up a storm,.. Been watching hurricane football for well over 20 yrs!! We have every right to be passed about our team performances regressing, while the talent level increases!! These coaches are wasting our players talents, as well as the fan base' money!!!
But hey, I'm just a pathetic (I think thats what you called me) fan!

We’ve been a dumpster fire for 15 years. If you don’t reflect on why, and what that means give the heat and smoke continuing to emanate from the program, then maybe you’re just not paying attention.

But honestly....who in their right mind BECAME a fan in the last 5 years...especially since as you stated " we've been a dumpster fire for 13 years"? Cuz...that's kinda loyal in my book. Js
