Unpopular take: Patchan>Garvin vs the Gators

Patchan is not athletic enough, has no motor to make plays in the backfield... we need Rousseau and Garvin as our starters.

This is what happens when you have casual fans that don't have a clue about Scheme watch a game and come to a conclusion about a player.
 
No need to talk about Garvin, he is our best DL.

That said, any heat Patchan is taking is unwarranted. He played well and has earned his snaps.

As for who starts and who comes off the bench, I don't care, but I think we should see relatively even snaps from the 4 of Garvin, Patchan, Rousseau, and Hill, with a few going to Jahfari Harvey as well.
 
******* **** it makes my brain hurt how much people overreact to 1 game. 1 ******* game where garvin didn't have 8 sacks in the 1st quarter and we need to replace him as a starter? WTeverlivingF?
 
Did anyone listen to the game? The announcers said that the defense's plan was to prevent Franks from rolling to his right. That meant that when Garvin was at his left, he couldn't get too much pressure. Patchan played a good game, but Garvin is still a great DE, the game plan didn't allow him to put up great numbers or have flashy plays is all.
