More than this past cycle yes. But still this class will be heavy on Florida. Remember we got 1 player from Dade county this past cycle!

Why? Who does Clemson have from South Florida? Trayvon Mullen was the difference between a good team and a national championship team?

Look, I'm all in favor of locking down SFL. And I'm not totally disagreeing with you. But what Ivins is saying is you can't let the best of the best get away if you're the hometown team. But it's silly to think you have to have SFL players to win. Miami has been filled with players from SFL for several years. Clemson beat them about 1500-3 the last 2 times they played. You can win recruiting players nationally. But you can't let Jerry Jeudy, Dalvin Cook, Calvin Ridley, etc etc etc I can go on for a half hour....you can't let ALL those kids go to your rivals.

"If you want to be a dominant Miami you have to get the best players from SFL yearly" isn't entirely true. You need to because they're regional kids. But if you recruit good players and you have good coaches, you can win with kids from anywhere. Clemson being example #1. They've got kids from GA, SC, NC, AL, MD and more, and they're kicking the **** out of everyone. Find good players. Coach those players. That's the blueprint.
Who "let" them go to our rivals? People keep saying this like in the end it's not the kid's decision.

It's never been that high for all of our great teams.

So, disagree with your assertion.
And I respectively disagree with your disagreement. There's no way that we had 35/40 OOS kids on those teams. I know that we had OOS studs on those teams that helped us reach the top; but not almost half of them.

Bruh, this ain’t a guess - just look at the rosters and count them up!

People are counting walk ons and what not. Look at the two deep. Then deduct QBs, who are often OOS kids, and also jucos (ditto) and Canadian and Iranian OL. You end up with a kid or two from NJ and TX.

we fuqed then if thats the case, u want to be a dominant Miami u have to get the best players from sfla yearly plain and simple. Just like Ivins said the coaching staff has to do that or they will have the same fate as the rest of them
Don't necessarily agree. You might be right, you might not be.

Just noticed so many good athletes from around the country at the NFL combine.

What? We had one Iranian lineman
Wish we had two.

Unpopular opinion: The U needs the Miami Vice colorway as an alternate
81588

50% So Florida (Dade, Broward, Palm Beach)
25% rest of state
25% OOS

It's close to this year in and year out.

Coaching staff has to not sht the bed on the field, that's job 1. It's kinda chicken and egg, but we all know we've been leaving wins out there on the field...stop that sht and we'll see what we've got on the trail.

Interestingly, if Manny can get a recruiting bounce in this class (say top 10) we should be more loaded than any time in the last 10 years at least. So maybe a benifit of swapping coaches so quickly.
