Lane looks like the same size herb? What was the hype about this man looking like Julio jones?!!! Maybe leaping ability but that's it. Like someone said tho the injury looks like it may caused him to look unsettled

If Lane was a leader and stud, he would make sure he gets way more throws his way. But, what can you expect from a UF recruit!

His body language is awful out there.

I get that his team is outmatched and his qb doesn't have time to even look downfield to throw to him but he just looks like he doesnt care.
 
I can't understand why some of these coaches take these games when their teams are woefully unprepared to adequately represent on national TV. Are the coaches really delusional about how good they are, or can they just not resist the ego-tug from getting their faces on ESPN, even if they're going to get embarrassed? I want to face palm at some of the Texas teams who have accepted these games and I see it in every other state also.
 
Ermon Lane is talented. He's the type who needs to be in the right culture, though. If he wants to make the big money later on, he has to grow as a player physically and be pushed mentally (behavior). It's actually in his best interest to go to a structured environment like Miami or Alabama. There are guys, like Stacy Coley or Artie Burns, who seem to be natural born killers. There are other guys who need to be in the right environment in order to max out their talent.

Ermon Lane is going to be forced to redshirt at Florida

He isnt even in the same talent pool as Ahmad Fullwood, Demarcus Robinson, and Alvin Bailey smh




/ His recruitment is like Kelvin Taylors, UF fans all thought he was going to beat out Matt Jones as the starting rb, but he cant even beat out a walk-on right now to get in the rotation.

You're right, but he strikes me as the type who wants to avoid that at all costs (and I'm not saying that because he chose Florida.... follow his twitter for a while. He is an "interesting" personality).

I thought Ermon Lane was suppose to be a Julio Jones clone myself but that comparison aint close.... I dont even think he has the talent that Herb Waters has.

Me is starting 2 think that Ermon Lane is one of those prospects that has a higher floor then ceiling..... dont see much potential.

This is what I've been saying since the Opening. I was unimpressed. He hasn't looked as explosive as people make him out to be...granted this is only from the limited game action that I've seen.

I think to many people jumped of the Lane wagon to quick this is the first game of the season and its not a cupcake team he is playing

I think he is complacent with what he did last season. His little stinger is bothering him and Quincy Wilson has shut the boy down.

Going into halftime it looked like Lane was talking some smack to his QB and his QB was yelling right back at him. Lane was walking in front of him and giving him the back, not even looking at him. That was absolutely awful to witness. I absolutely don't want Lane after seeing that. Give me Dixon over Lane ALL DAY.
