University of West Florida/Pensacola

Navarre has a wideout on UWF Quentin Randolph who had over 250 yards and 3 tds in the Championship game. They’ve had a solid program as well over the past few years I remember when I first started around here they were struggling but Chad Lashley got them going in the right direction and then Jay Walls took over. Michael Carter who plays for UNC was from Navarre as well

Dante Wright freshman WR @ colorado state is another good one. Where do you coach?

D 2 football is like glorified highschool ball, west Florida also has the luxury of getting scraps from south Florida unlike schools any where else in d2.

Manny is *** cheeks as a coach but you can’t compare a d2 turnaround to a d1. Also this Miami team is mannys team he’s been here for like 4 years now.
At least it's a genuine earned championship, not one that was lobbied for based on record.

I’d rather not say which school however I will say Okaloosa County. We’ve also had some decent talent. Romeo Finley at Miami, Deonte Sheffield at FSU Juanyeh Thomas at Georgia Tech Richie Grant at UCF. Niceville Crestview and Choctaw have all sent some decent talent out over the past few years even though some of the kids get over looked. Fort Walton has declined but they have some talent every now and then too. Akeem Spence in the NFL is from there

I live up here and have coached high school football for the last 10 years. There are some really good players up here that often get overlooked for whatever reason definitely not as flashy as the south Florida talent but UWF has done a good job of getting some of the guys that get overlooked by big time college football. They have a good program going

Romeo Finley is from my home here in Fort Walton Beach.

Yeah, we have some players here.

I've seen a number of South Florida players ranked out - but just seem lazy or uninspired.

Yup DJ Hall and Glenn Coffee are other notable names. I know DJ's family. He was the beneficiary of the Bama bag game. I also graduated with the current Niceville Head Coach Grant Thompson.

DJs brother Magic was an absolute beast on the basketball court. Glenns brother Matt also was pretty good in football played at South Carolina but had injury issues

Fielded their first football team in 2015.

In 2017, their SECOND season - they qualified for the NCAA Division II Playoffs, and reached the final losing by ten points to Texas A&M Commerce.

In 2019, their FOURTH season - they won the NCAA Division II National Championship.

Anyone that asks dumbass questions on how many years you have to give a coach to get HIS players and HIS program going HIS way - outta be taken out behind the shed and shot.

If you're not a dumbass Head Coach - you'll hire good coordinators - and start to see results - almost immediately.

This is UM with the sorriest administration, BOT, AD, HC, OC, DC, etc. ANYWHERE - to lose and lose this badly - as though they're getting paid to make us lose.

West Florida would probably beat the Miami Hurricanes.

Just kidding.

Or am I kidding?
