The University gives them no reason to stay.

They get bad advise and ultimately make bad decisions...but this school doesn't offer much reason to stay.

Understood.. BUT these player's need to go out and perform, stop putting it in the coach's hands.. Play football the way you'll know how to play, at the end of the day, these player's are the ones on the field GETTING EMBARRASSED..

I get it. I've been one of the few guys on this forum that have stated frustrations with the players on the field. I don't give them a pass. Sometimes football is about just beating the man in front of you and we have a ton of guys that get in their feelings and let ham'n'egg jobbers from Group of 5 schools work them snap after snap, down after down. Its not always on their position coach, coordinator, head coach, Blake James, Jenn Strawley, the BoT...thats about the player as a man that is not taking pride in his work and performance.

NFL teams are not going to care about all of the nonsense at the University of Miami over the past 20 years. They simply don't care. They look at film and try and project you to tomorrow, its not about yesterday. So, when a guy like Jon Garvin declares for the NFL Draft...he's going to have 32 NFL teams that are going to ask him (if they care enough to even ask him) wtf this season was for him and his answers will go a long way to a team giving him a chance.

Our AD can’t figure out what it needs to do to run a football program. Why would you expect it to be able to advise kids what they should do?

Yeah, like $$$$$ that the state schools are slipping them. We are perpetually the youngest team in the country and recruit 25 kids per year as a result!
