I drove past the Adidas factory very slowly today and I can tell you this: The new uniforms won't be ready for the FAMU game.

I knew Richt wouldn't put up w/ the crap Adidas was giving us. Michigan fans couldn't wait to leave Adidas...but Adidas needs us, and I think they've done a good job in listening to us. When the font came out, we complained about it, and they fixed it, to a certain extent. Now, we've complained about the jerseys and they are trying to fix it. I do like that about them.

And michigan went and put a basketball player logo on their jerseys. Stupidest **** i've ever seen.

No doubt in my mind that being a Jordan Brand school will get Michigan recruits.

Also, a lot of NFL players wear Jordan Brand cleats in cluding T.O., Dez Bryant and Dre Johnson.

You are absolutely correct, from the recruiting stand point, and I just highlighted your very point that the Jordan Brand is no longer connected to just b-ball. It's even connected to NASCAR now.

I think they are already good. Take off the feathers and maybe some people here will stop getting their panties in a bunch.
Also I think the alternates we wore this year were very nice. But we should wear our traditional uni vs FSU and stuff.

The Ice jerseys and the all black jerseys were lit. I liked them....but our jerseys are anything but good. The shimmer on the fonts, the font itself, and the name on the front, and the feathers all have to go. Adidas is capable of making better jerseys....but I have noticed that a lot of long time partners of theirs are jumping ship. I heard that Adidas is more focused on individual athletes v. apparel nowadays. That's King's proposal to get them back on top. Soccer is still their bread and butter, and in the U.S., they are more focused on athletes v. team apparel (see them non-renewing the NBA contract and NFL contract)

Jordan is no longer "just" a basketball brand (see Dez Bryant, Charles Woodson, Alshon Jeffery, our very own Andre Johnson, and CC Sabathia, Neymar Jr, Andre Ward, etc.) Jordan is becoming the "brand of excellence" from Nike, based upon Jordan's rep. Those days of just b-ball are over.

I believe Roy Jones in the early 2000's was one of the first athletes to wear Jordan brand outside of basketball so they have a history going back pretty far now of having a presence in other sports

They changed the font during the season. Isn't the font the actual Miami Hurricanes font that we use for everything, which is perfectly fine. The name on the front is fine. **** yall gotta find these small little problems for everything and act like it's major. I really don't see what is wrong with it saying Miami or Canes, It looks fine. All you guys seem to want is a plain white/orange/green jersey with a number and nothing else. Well Adidas isn't about to pay $7m/yr for that!
I agree that I'm not a big fan of the shininess to the uni's, but it's not like it makes the uni ****.

I swear these are easily the best uniform we've worn since at least the early 2000's, and a lot of people act like they're worse than the **** Nike gave us the past few years. At least Adidas isn't ******* up our **** helmet like Nike did. Thats much much worse than spelling out Miami instead of putting the U logo, or having shiny numbers.

"Brand of Excellence" lmfao. Nike found a found a way to make poor people to feel fresh by spending 25% of their monthly paycheck on a pair of shoes that cost 3 dollars to make. I remember when i was 12 and thought a new pair of shoes would make me jump higher too. Seriously though, go to any bus stop or dollar general and tell me how many 16-24 year old males you see that are wearing jordans and probably don't have 500$ in their bank account. Nike is literally pimping the **** out of that demographic and have been for 35 years.

Wtf are you saying? You really think last year's jerseys are the best we've had since the early 2000's? LMAO. The 2014 Nike redesign, minus the alternate helmets, were ******* light years better than the **** adidas put out for us last year. Unbelievable.
