This is an important point. Things were going very wrong, and put the team in a position they haven't been in all season, and they responded and found a way. That matters. There were about 10 times in the 2nd half I thought we were dead meat.

No doubt. I think we will. You’re a smart dude so I’m not telling you anything you don’t know but the best team in college football history needed Mike Rumph’s knee and Earnest Wilford’s butterfingers to win all their games.

It’s hard to win every single week. We have for half the season. Let’s celebrate that. Are we flawed? Sure. But we played objectively horribly and won. Mensah played his worst game by far. Fletcher got hurt. Poyser got kicked out in the first quarter. And we won.

Winning is hard, man. People here really don’t understand this. Ask UGA about it. Ask 5 teams in the top 7. We are the #1 team in the country. Does that mean we’re the absolute best team and will win a natty? Obviously not. But nobody, NOBODY just mows down every single team they play. Indiana needed Omar Cooper’s toe to beat Penn State last year, did they win 4 games? Just win. That’s the name of the game.

We are an elite team but

Our oline is mediocre. And I don’t think it will reach natty level this year

Our QB AND WRs(outside of mali) may be closer to above average than they are elite

Every team has flaws but the questions is, how much better can we get from now to the playoffs?

Last year we could bet on us having the advantage in the trenches on both sides every game, this year we don’t have the advantage with our oline at all and the dline is matchup dependent. We may go undefeated in the regular season but idk if we are built for playoff football like last year

I don’t get why we continue to do the same bs that’s not working . Offense and defense . We have kids who shouldn’t be playing esp defense . Dawson is dumb as fck imo alway has been dumb he just calls a few good plays at the right time and everyone looks past the 3/4 game he called was trash esp if we win
 
The Domers OLine got gashed by BYU. Carr was running for his life.

There is no dominant team in CFB this year. We are the closest thing to a dominant team with our abundance of skill players.

Enjoy the ride. We get healthy, we are the team to beat.
 
Typically pretty respectful of opinions in here. But between the banter of my fsu mates and what I’ve read on here I’m just going to let it rip.

Anyone who’s played any significant level of athletics understands it’s not always easy, even when on paper it should be. I have plenty of critiques. Play calling, not getting the ball to the best player on the field, at times sinking to the level of your opponent etc.

But you buffoons saying this team is not that good and being emotional pieces of **** like you just got your first period are worthless. Is it perfect? Nope. But neither was last year when we dropped two in a row and made it into the playoff as the last pick em team.

OP, and anyone else for that matter who wants to whine and *****. I throw you in the same category of the male FSU cheerleader I had the pleasure tonight of telling face to face that male cheerleaders have a hidden ******.

Just a bunch of jock sniffers whining about **** you have no idea about. It’s great to be a Miami Hurricane.

Last 2 years we lose this game. Bottom line is this. OL and Defense has to improve. This was FSU Super Bowl and the way we got out of it 1-0 is a good thing
 
Georgia was supposed to be the best team in the country… and they lost at home to a mediocre Auburn team.

So who actually is elite?
