Uncle Luke - All Black Players and Coaches Should Boycott FSU

This is a microwave generation as we all know and with the impact of social media you don’t have long to turn a top program like FSU around especially being African American. Tag Gary is the one who made out like a fat rat. Case in point Freddie kitchens head coach of the Cleveland browns has his days numbered. He might not make it till the end of the season. Let’s look at Adam gase of the Jets he will be gone by mid next season and he just got hired. And the way people were acting on here more than some wanted manny gone after this year. And if Miami gets a couple more losses here comes fire manny again. BOTTOM LINE IS TAGGART DIDNT GET IT DONE OR SHOW SOME IMPROVEMENT SO HES OUTTA HERE.
He didn't get it done, but I am not convinced anyone can get it done that quickly. The entire FSU program is a freaking mess. They never faced the real issues at FSU, and until they do NO coach will succeed there. There is no discipline in that program, on or off the field. ****, half the recruits they get are due to the off field crap they are allowed to get away with, and they wonder why the football program is in flames.

Tagfart was in way above his head and never proved anything prior to being hired at fsu. I'm actually shocked they came up with the money as fast as they did. While I don't like to bring race into situations such as these I do believe it was an issue and the reason he was let go. I really don't believe his record had anything to do with it because all of the rumblings from their fans about him being black. This is no different than what goes on at alabaga the only difference is they win and free shoes doesn't. Unfortunately racism is alive and well in 2019.

Rob Parker is indeed Black, but this guy isn't. Racism played a part here and it's no secret Willie was on a short lease the day he was hired. Did he do himself any justice with that Coaching staff? Nope, but if you're expecting a Man to change that **** in 1.5yrs... I have a Beach House in **** I want to sell you. It was only two games this Season Willie lost that wasn't close... Clemson and Miami. Every lost other than that was close. Their fanbase is delusional.
bruh I am black and you expressed my sentiments exactly taggart was on a short leash being head coach at FSU so he has to come correct BOTTOM LINE and he didn’t. I just don’t wanna use the race card here I’m sorry. When Charlie strong was at Texas he had to have know he had a short leash there as well and I’m wise enough to know if your a black head coach at TEXAS you better have your Ts crossed and your eyes dotted if you wanna remain in that position.

Everybody is Black online... Fam you ain't Black. You lost all credibility when you said "The Talent was there" FSU suck. Their OL is horrible hence we sacked them 9 TIMES... 9 TIMES IN ONE GAME. sit this out fake Black Man. Nobody could change that program in 1.5yrs.
The talent is there them dudes can’t coach. They got a bunch of one techniques on their front four defensive line and wonder why they couldn’t get no pass rush. They have had better recruiting classes than Miami the past two years. The talent is definitely their.

You think race can get someone a job but have nothing to do with losing it? How sway?
I think their reason for hiring him is more offensive than their reason firing him. JMO. Basically they wanted a black coach. They got a black coRch.

You are entitled to your opinion. I just disagree with it and don’t take it as me attacking you. But the idea that black people only get high profile jobs because of race is bull****. It’s interesting that white people never acknowledge that a white person can get a job because they are white but will point to race with no hesitation when it comes to minorities.

They got talent but Jimbo's going 5-6 with so called top 5 classes...impeccable logic.

I get tired of people injecting race into every situation. As for low IQ Luther....who cares if Willie is black, white or purple?? He simply didn't get it done, he made a lot of dumb decisions, couldn't hire good asst. coaches, was losing recruits and on and on according to article in Tallahassee paper. The problems were many and he was in over his head. It was booster driven and they wanted him gone as evidenced by raising the money to buy out his contract.

We're good. I just appreciate dialogue. Of course some white people get jobs due to connections (privileged is the term I believe).

I'm not knocking Willie. I am knocking FSU. They thought they'd win the recruiting game (IMO) with a young black coach.. I think that was emphasized more than his coaching abilities. Could be wrong. Always felt that.

Kinda agree with you here, I think they hired the wrong African-American candidate, Mel Tucker has a waaaaay more impressive resume...and He's from the Saban tree.

Privilege is the right word. One problem with privilege is that when someone without that privilege steps into a role typically occupied by those with privilege, then people assume they weren’t qualified and got that position because of pity instead of merit.

FSU hasn’t truly struggled with recruiting since... ever really (as far as class ranking is concerned). So I find it hard to believe that they figured they needed a black coach for that.
