Haven't watched it yet but it just came out today. Always does a great pre season analysis for a bunch of team across the country. I'm expecting him to have us at 9-3. Enjoy!

Lou has us losing to MSU, Wake Forest, V-Tech and G-Tech. If that happens, manny should be fired. Blake James will probably spin it though and say, “we improved by two wins from last year. I like the direction that we are headed in”. 7-5 (or worse) and Manny is 100% gone. 8-4 is a coin flip, 9-3 (or better) and he’s fine. Regardless, Wake Forest and G-tech are UNACCEPTABLE losses. We say that every year though.

Y’all are dreaming if you think after what the college system has just gone through they’ll fire Diaz after 9-3.

I don't think he survives the heat. Every team in the country has gone through the same situation so no one has an advantage. 9 games is an abject failure given the schedule and talent level.

Exactly. And this years schedule is easy compared to 2021 and 2022. Manny will
This would be a worst-case scenario, except for beating FSU.

8-4 and being in the hunt that late in the year and losing to VT would be a complete failure season, again, but it might not get Manny fired.

Literal worst case season right here.
Wake Forest and Georgia Tech cannot be losses. That is a fireable offense. And the one thing *no one* has talked about- how difficult will road games be this year for any team if stadiums are barely full?

Wow, 8-4 eh Lou? That’s not going out on a limb there mate. I know people in the media are sucking WF’s toes but by the time we meet them we’ll wipe the floor with them. Same with Georgia Tech, can it a revenge *******, whatever makes you happy. I only see three losing opportunities this season. MSU in East Lansing with another physical B1G team on the road. Then FSU is always a crapshoot, throw out the records they say. Lastly, Lane Stadium at night most likely for all the Coastal marbles. We get Mack Brown and Boys at home in the last of our revenge games from last year.

Wake Forest is a Friday night game so maybe we go in there sleeping (better not). If we lose to Georgia Tech AGAIN, Manny should fire himself. My lord that would be bad. MSU and V-Tech will be tough but how many fans will be in the stands to really make a difference?

I agree. 9-3 is the realistic floor barring a really weird injury run or unavailability due to COVID.

Manuela lost to high school teams and a squad getting acquainted with the forward pass.

Of course he can take Ls to Wake and GT.

As much as it pains me, I could see this happening. We need to stop choking on cupcake teams, then the big games will follow a bit later on. This **** FIU, Duke, GT bull**** each year is ripping my **** heart out.

Just that we're headed into the seaon knowing who we have - a new dynamic STARTING Q and improved O-line because of portal and a year's (even if painful) experience. Cam is what I thought he'd be last year if they didn't call back all his highlight-reel runs. Really good pass-rushing D-Line; we better **** sure not lose to no more patsies.
