The interior line of the Canes has a pair of 300-plus pound run stoppers in Nesta Jade Silvera and Jonathan Ford. The highest compliment Brown could give is also the reason Carolina is wary of facing them.

“They’re just like the Notre Dame bunch that whipped us,” Brown said.

DEs may be the best tandem in college football, and compare favorably with any tandem in ACC history, including that vaunted Clemson DEs a couple of years ago.

Also, we need good LB and safety play to go along with that DL. The young LBs and Steed stepped up against Duke, and I hope Brooks is back. If the Canes put on a tackling clinic the way they did against Duke, then I expect the Canes to beat just about any team in college football that they play.
 
Lol y’all must have never did sport interviews. Although true what he said, players are told what to say and not say for the most part. I had a coach in college honestly tell us whatever he was saying in the media is all BS.. Players are taught not to say any bulletin board material even tho some players slip up from time to time

Wow, you would think Mack Brown and Co. we’re tryin’ to Blow Smoke up our ****, nah. They shouldn’t be reading headlines. They should be watching film and thinking about HEADHUNTING. Keep their focus and head in the game. Other than Clemson, this is the toughest team we play.

But there's a HUGE gap between UNC and Clemson. We're going to be fine
 
As they should, last couple weeks the Dline has been a major problem. And their oline had some issues with Notre Dame front once ND adjusted. They suffocated them alot playing downhill and limiting Howell. We will need to do the same as their offense is one of best in country. They are also one of most explosive offenses in last few years, Only Lamar Jackson led Louisville and Riley Okla squad has been more explosive. That means more explosive that that lsu bunch and Bama last few offenses, We gonna need to bring it, wish we could pack the rock..

Okay and there are folks on this board that want Stroud fire, go figure
 
Would love to see us get them into obvious passing downs and then line up Harvey at one DE spot, Phillips the other and stand Roche up on the edge.
