This happens everytime Miami starts to climb in the rankings and gets love from the media. The whole program starts feeling themselves after a hot start and then the team lays an egg or in the case of Saturday debacle, a chernobyl level meltdown.
 
Would have liked to see Rad step in on that question to respond with "watch our offseason moves"

1. so what? he screwed up too - 3 times. and mario, who is the head coach, let him ***** up 3 times and has a history at oregon of not taking a knee when he should have.

2. so what? he didn't say, "i have a history after bye weeks of not taking a knee 3 times to end the game when i should," so i don't see what his statement - which i understood to be about how in his experience offensives are often sloppy/lethargic coming out of the bye week - has to do with calling 3 runs when he and mario should have called kneel downs.

they both screwed up, royally. they took responsibility as they should. let's see how they coach and inspire the team going forward. the bar for a succesful season is higher now than before on account of that clusterf*ck at the end of the game

Somethings never change.
That’s the definition of Miami football, year after year after year.
Complacency, no consistency, dropping games we have no business dropping, and losing after a by week.
Not to mention, when they lose after a few wins, they go on a several game losing streak.
That’s why I have little doubt they will lose next week to NC.

I want Mario to come back from this. I really do.

But not sure if there was much sincerity in him repeating over and over his canned line about it falling on him.
 
I really like Dawson and Guidry. I really hope we have them both for one more year at least. I didn't listen to Mario and never will.
 
Guidry just said the best QB he has ever faced is Luke McCown...

Buddy threw like 70 interceptions at Louisiana Tech

Love Guidry and he's competent.. no doubt... but that's a huge disadvantage going against someone like Drake Maye when the next best QB you have ever faced is about 1/4 the talent and had none of the supporting cast. If we make him look like Marino slinging the skin all over the yard - there's the reason.
 
He was also clearly seething at the refs. Tough to swallow that despite his bad decision.
