So fun fact. I know Mike and his family. Grew up with his older brother as military brats overseas before they moved to Florida. His mama used to babysit me. I told her I wish mike luck in every game except one lol.

Howell is a turnover machine waiting to happen. Have to stop the run and get pressure.
 
Unc looks decent, especially Carter/run blocking but nothing else really stands out. We show up ready to go, play s clean game, we got no worries.
 
Not gonna lie, I'm kind of surprised with how terrible South Carolina is playing. I always forget with Will Muschamp coached teams that you have to spot the other team about 14 points because of terrible coaching.

Even then, UNC hasn't been that impressive. They're certainly moving the ball better than last year, but making lots of mistakes.

And, that's why you don't force blitzes on young QBs. Makes their reads easier.
 
If this is Phil Longos offense and they are getting the ball out consistently under 3 seconds sacks will be hard to come by.

2.3 seconds and throw

1.2 seconds and throw.

I’m hoping we get a 4 sack game but if this dude calls passes this quickly it would be tough.

But if they are going to throw the quick passes I see our DBs jumping a route or two and pick 6 coming next week

That's the risk with the type of offense he runs. I also think we've got a more talented and better defense than South Carolina. Will be interesting to see what happens.

One difference for them between this year and last, they'd already be down by 20 at this point.

Our defense is 10x better than South Carolina. When you play quick passing teams and QBs who are quick to release the ball it’s natural for the sacks not to pile up.

Which would lead some guys to start questioning our DL when they their offense essentially schemes to not take sacks.

USCe isn’t very good. But I will admit Howell looks better than I thought he would. Our defense is a lot better than what we’re seeing in this game right now. We’ll be fine as long as we stop the run

Their Offense is sh*t, the OL won't hold up against us, we'll force 3-4 turnovers per usual.

The key to game next week (if Hurricane Dorian doesn't ruin it lol) is if our Offense can do the most basic sh*t & actually throw the ball down the field.

The Defense will do its job & put us in position to win, all the Offense has to do is show they're not worse than a D2 squad & actually throw the ball for 250-260 or more & we'll win.

There's literally not one single acceptable excuse as to why we don't carve up UNC, NOT ONE.
