UNC Uniforms?

We've won every game without wearing black. I'm just fine never wearing black. Call me superstitious but I dint wanna change nothing. And I hate seeing those blackout or whiteout gimmick stuff that other schools run. More often than not it leads to a home team loss.

Get a feeling that the blackout may be coming out for VT game...Rather where them for the ND game if superstition is a legitimate factor

I would bet they’re saving the all black for ND, which will be a night game. Don’t think vt is a night game but it’s possible

I think VT will be a night game if both teams win this weekend. On the other hand, there are some seriously big games on 11/4. Lets see.

Guess we've scrapped the black socks/cleats this year

The U Equipment twitter handle seemed to indicate that the players prefer white cleats/white socks.

I think they meant they like the look. Not necessarily that they prefer it

They prefer the white cleats/socks look to the black cleats/socks look.

As a younger Canes fan (grew up in the early 90s) I respect the history of the black cleats/socks, but I agree with the players. I prefer the white.

This isn't the first time TheUEqRoom has posted this kind of thing. I'll try to go back and find it, but he's said in the past that the players don't like the black shoes look and from what I gather, they have a LOT of input in terms of what combos they wear.
