Usually this is what happens when you keep sticking to the same people that you always stick to instead of making outside hires that actually just help you out. Being with Lombardi always ends in the same BS and I am not surprised that Bill has lost complete control over it. And that's not how he was till like 2018, so I don't get what has happened.

However, why people continue to make this weird point that the HC rode the QBs shoulders... go watch some Patriot games from 01-04. They're all available on YouTube to watch.
Means BIll hires his boys instead of hiring the right people, but I am not saying he doesnt know ball. He coached great defenses but to think he was this wizard is like saying Phil Jackson is the best basketball coach evber type ****. The way they talked him up was crazy, he has the most rings but talking like if he goes anywhere makes that team superbowl or national championship team is crazy talk imo.

There is a reason he couldn't get another NFL gig.

Can you imagine being a recruit sitting at home with your family and in walks this guy looking like he’s getting ready to go wash his car who sits down at the table and starts mumbling some unintelligible nonsense that no one has a glue to what he says…..yea that will impress a whole lot of top recruits and their parents.

Bill won a super bowl with a team that went 5-11 the year prior, without it's best receiver that he traded away and a 2nd year QB on a high-ankle sprain that didn't throw for 150 yards against The Greatest Show on Turf.

No one says that Bill could've did it anywhere. No one says that about any coach. That's completely unrealistic. But the notion that Bill rode Brady to success is about as ridiculous as the HoF snubbing him of being in the first ballot.

I mean he couldn’t fix the browns so he’s definitely not perfect.

Being in the crap AFC east doesn’t hurt either with teams barley having a pulse

Yeah, that’s just stupid. Like saying Bill Walsh was not a good coach, only lucky because of Montana/Young. Nonsense.

Belicheck is going to have to win a lot more games at UNC to catch Walsh’s 34-24-1 record at Stanford.
