I don't need UNC to have players ineligible to feel like we can beat them. I'm simply celebrating their misfortune because I hate them. If you ain't hating on opponents, you ain't really a fan.

This is a mindset that many more of our "fans" need to adopt.
Are the tar holes still completely beatable with or without one middling starting safety? Of course they are. That isn't the point.

Any time something negative happens that hurts their program or makes them look even the slightest bit bad, any real UM fan should be shouting it from the rooftops and laughing his *** off at those tobacco chewing clowns. Some people really need to learn how to pick a ******* side.

I don't know how old you are, but the younger generation is more about quiet behind-the-scenes hating. They don't hate openly and heartily like my generation does. We hate opponents and love our club. You're 100% in, or you're 100% out is my mindset. All this everyone gets a star and "I want everyone to do well" **** is new school sissy nonsense.
 
Woolfolk must really be behind academically for this to happen. I mean, not going to class, not taking tests, etc.

There is a lot of truth in here. When everyone gets a star there's less reason to hate your opponent, because at the end of the game, you're getting similar praise and reward to him.

38 years old and raised in a first generation household. I was more or less a grown man before the participation trophy culture set in, and even if I hadn't been, my Cuban parents weren't going to let me grow up a soft *** who falsely believes effort without results gets rewarded and it's fun to have pizza and a milkshake after the game with the guy who just pushed your **** in for 60 minutes.

I know I am, I'm 50, and I sure love when anything happens negatively to every team that's not MIAMI! Hey, the other teams, fans, don't have a problem laughing at us or putting us down when they get the chance.... why should we?

The post I was responding to was referring to Butch's time at UM.

We know about UNC, where Butch was exonerated. Nonetheless, UNC admin had to offer someone up and it wasn't going to be one of their own.

I try to stay away from the hatred.. but, one of the **** bois on your team flashes an upside down U and you never escape the list. **** unc and their tobacco road enablers. I hate them and wish them nothing but misery and pain. Miami needs to beat them back into just a basketball school and then beat them at that.
