UNC takes a hit

Wait…academic ineligibility? Wasn't this a thing…under Butch?

True story:

One of my professors at Northwestern was a tenured faculty professor at UNC back in the 80s. He told me he switched jobs the year after he had a bunch of basketball and football players in his class. Because of the honor system, the teachers left the room for tests. After he left, he peeked into the window and saw one of the tutors writing all the answers on the chalk board. But since he wasn't allowed to be there, he couldn't self-report, and everyone else refused to come forward. He was so incensed that he quit because everyone at the University knew this cheating was going on but they all refused to do anything about it.

You have to come to grips with the fact that some people don't view Butch the way you do. Also, everybody knows you're gonna jump up and defend him. So some people gonna take shots just to push your buttons. Let it go.

If you aren't academically enrolled, you cannot play. Not sure why they didn't know this sooner; maybe he was given a chance to make up the work and just didnt do it.

Typically when in a grad year the student can take as few as 1-2 classes. There is no credit requirement per semester for grad students.
So he had to do next to nothing, and he did nothing.

The honor system required the professor two leave the room and he couldn't self report either? What a bunch of BS. Ewe should have called the mane a liar two his too face.

Name one violation. Do you think, coming out of a near death penalty, if anything came up he wouldn't be shown the door?

@caneinorlando , you take the bait too easily. They're tired of ragging about the CB situation and just trolling to gin up some excitement.
 
Well the NCAA has already begun an investigation, and have found 'a lack of institutional control' at UNC.

They are currently suggesting punishing UNC by placing Miami under probation for 2 years, and ineligible to play in the post season.

They have really amped up the Diaspora Studies department with several Nobel Prize winners. The academic rigor expected for those students is world class.
