UNC Dik riders ... show yourselves!

Wait I’m confused…so is it somewhat expected that teams play subpar in openers and are ripe for upsets or do openers define the entire season?

Don't get me wrong, I can't stand the wine and cheese crowd at UNC, but playing @VT at night is pretty tough.
I'm not ready to write off UNC after 1 game, if anything I hope they win the rest of their games leading up to ours.
Will make our win all the sweeter.

I was bathing in UNC tears (it was GLORIOUS) watching their forum board.

Aside from the "we suck we should just kill ourselves now wailing" (see not just on CIS!), and the Mack Brown is senile and Searles is a corch screaming, an attitude seemed to be forming.

They feel their chances at ACCCD belt is now significantly impacted because "VT will smash Miami, and we will smash them too"...

So they are looking at VTs ACC schedule for 2 losses amd don't see it.

Bottom Line: Miami must win every ACC contest, lose even 1 amd they will need help from others

All y’all beating your chests in this thread better hope we don’t lose to UNC. Lol Football is a game of matchups and it’s hard to win at VT at night.

All I know is this: UNC has Miami’s number, no matter how bad they are. I repeat: UNC has Miami’s number, and they have flat out smashed and embarrassed us on National TV on multiple occasions.

In, fact, they almost beat us with an 4th string QB when they were 1-7 in 2017 - and we were undefeated. We were a miracle fumble away from losing.

Don’t forget, we’ve lost 4 out of the last 6 vs UNC ( 2015, 2016, 2019, 2020) and Manny Díaz has lost to UNC three times in 5 Years. 2016, 2019, 2020

Doesn’t mean a **** thing until we hammer them. Which I fully expect. I want it to be ugly. I want blood..

manny better run the score up every time we play that school just based alone on the **** refs we gotta deal with in this conference

heaven knows I would, i'd throw a hail marry on the last play of the game up 58-0 and then give mack brown the finger as he comes up to shake hands and *****

fck their feelings

we need to beat vt and unc for sure to have the head to head tiebreakers, and whoever else might be in contention for the coastal. We could conceivably lose to an Atlantic opponent or a bad coastal team and still control our own fate. Unc can still be good or play spoiler, just need to find wr‘s who can catch and some defenders to tackle

This is a textbook example of what i been saying about us and Bama. To be clear UNC is not Bama, not even close. But they had a prolific offense last season. They brought back the QB and all their OL. But they lost almost all their skill positions. Players who could beat man. Not to mention teams are not gonna play them the same way as well as teams had time to examine mistakes they made against them last season. Its the same for every team. Thinking teams are gonna pick up where they left off while losing key pieces to their operation is unrealistic. I don't care who it is. They gonna have to prove it every season, and so do we for that matter. UNC could make adjustments and start rolling but they were not last night. And that's what we have to do with Bama, make them click later in the season after holding this L. That's what Ole Miss was almost pulling off. Lets get it.

The difference, of course, being unc was “good” for one year with an 8-4 record while bama has proven to reload and replace staff, players, heisman winners, etc seamlessly for about 13 years…

It's very annoying when Porsters try to make a point and leave obvious info out: Mack won a Natty.

We can beat them, it's all about the Coaching staff being on point.
So did Larry Coker. His record is 60-15 at Miami.

Mack Brown is 259-133-1

Larry Coker > Mack Brown.
