In the recent Miami vs. Ohio State Cotton Bowl (played December 31, 2025/January 1, 2026), there were only two penalties called in the entire game, both against Ohio State, resulting in minimal disruption and a very clean contest, according to The New York Times, Canes Warning, and USA Today.
  • Total Penalties: 2
  • Team: Ohio State
  • Details: One holding penalty and one illegal formation on a punt.

Wrong, Miami had a PI called on us but it was declined

Both were legit calls and cost osu dearly
 
We are playing 12 v 11 all fúcking year ( every year ).

First running through this bum aśs conference, playing CFB darlings ( & perennial cheaters ) ND + OSU, playoffs stage = same shít different day.

The moment I saw the cajun head zebra go blue steel for a few awkward extra beats to the national feed, I knew this would the more of the same bull fückin shít.
 
You called it fraggle. I believe you said 31-19? I predicted Miami would win 27-17. That reminds me, I need to go check Urban Cryer’s twitter page to see how bad he’s getting trolled. I believe his exact words were, “If Ohio St. scores 14 pts. or more, they win.”

That was a call in from ESPN. They didn’t want half the country switching channels if we go up 21-0 at half.
That was a 1st down or missed by inches, which you would never overturn. Zero chance in **** that the spot was a full two feet off.

Don’t forget the blatant arm bar on one of our tackles up the middle in the second half (was against Lightfoot). We got the pressure on Sayin for sure last night. We have the nastiest D in the nation!

Both teams got away with some offensive holds, although I thought OSU’s were far more egregious.

We also didn’t have the obvious penalties such as false starts and offsides. Those usually accounted for 4-5 per game for us. We have cleaned up that area big time.

The overturned call against Beck’s 1st down was BS, but that came from the booth.

Refs let them play, which is what they have been doing for all the teams so far in the playoffs.

Well, that and the fact that Ohio St.’s O-Line was holding like crazy in the first half, but Bain/Mesidor have been getting held all year so nothing new there. It seemed like the refs went into that game with the mentality of let’s get this game over with quick because I have a New Year’s party to get to. They were definitely letting them play, which I liked.

lol what? That was a great called game. No bull**** penalties on us at all. I’d rather get a couple no calls that should have been penalties than a flag happy crew like we got all year

Offense scored. defense scored, Davis scored. came up short because in my prediction I expected a punt or kickoff return td...they did in my daydream...sigh
