Yes, it was a penalty, take your orange and green glasses off. His hand slid off the shoulder pad and grabbed the face mask. It was a penalty, stop making **** up!

No, he grabbed his shoulder pad, which is what caused the jerking motion that caused the refs to throw the flags.

Amazing how much bad luck we have as well. Pruitt played it perfectly, he had the shoulder pad, hand slips off as the runner pulls away and hand ends up on the facemask. Pretty much nothing he could do to avoid that, pure accident. ...and it leads to a VT score instead of a 4th down stop and great field position

It really should not be a big deal because the offense left points on the field. It should have been 28-3 at the half
