No defense we will see comes close to what we saw today.

This was a great test heading into the Florida game. The level of play was really high for the 1st game. Some mistakes, but that's to be expected.

Teams get better from weak 1. We haven't hit our ceiling.

ND was supposed to have the best OL. Clearly, that was on the Miami side. They do have a good offensive line. I think ND's OL is better than Florida. We are going to run trough so many teams on both sides of the ball.

as fans we all wanted it to be perfect and could've been better BUT ND is a good team (top 6) so Im happy that we pulled it out in the end - last years D would've probably lost the game. Enjoy and look forward to next week where we can get better

Whoever was complaining about pass rush, the last series is what happens when a team knowingly drops back and lets us rush the QB all out. Unblockable.

All season we will see quick hitters, screens, etc. I hope we press/play aggressive all season. Take chances. The amount of turnovers will be astronomical.

That offense has dropped off this year, but it's early. You just never know with the early games, but both teams played not to lose instead of to win.

I thought that should have been the 3rd down play before the FG. Would have went for a TD or a play action pass to Loften leaking out would have been a TD as well.
