UM v ND

Yeah I saw some random from Virginia Tech drill a 56 yarder with ease to ruin one of my parlays earlier today. Good kickers are more common than they used to be, and we get this bum who was 5/11 last year and has shattered nerves in game 1?
The camera panned to him before that TD and that kicker looked like he was shaking in his cleats.

I didn't foresee Carson Beck going 13-20 for 147 with a wet ball.

Also, that Brown kid has a bad attitude running the ball. That kids angry lol
No doubt! Really like what I have seen, Brown hits the hole hard.

Solid first half. D has been good so far, just lost composure at the worst possible time. Still didn't like rushing only three against a qb making his first start. Not concerned about the offense with Beck just keep grinding.

They aint touched Beck all game and the protection has been great and nobody said a thing. He gets pressured one time right before half and it’s Bell sucks. Ya’ll wild lol.
He got his lunch took in the run game twice. Same with Samson...

TEs hurting us too with missed blocks or straight up getting pushed back...

Hardly pressuring the QB. They should be in his face much more, make him make mistakes. Too passive.
I like Bain and Mesidor, but they aren't speed rushers. Carr us athletic and willing to scramble. If Booker or Lightfoot were in the game, Carr is sacked.
That 3rd and goal made NO sense with NO speed on the 3 man rush.

I wish we ran outside run plays but the reality is we have one maybe 2 backs that can beat a defense around the edge

Need to get Lofton involved now and really pressue Carr.

Im still waiitng on the ND deep ball that we get screwed on a hold

That play helps for so many reasons. One it gives us momentum going to half. It shows ND somebody else will make a play and they likely won’t double Toney. In the second half I’d like to see more single high safety on early downs to stop run. Also hit the seams with Lofton , we missed him on a TD earlier. Stay committed to the run and start with some play action. LB’s and S’s are stepping down.
