I saw Rocky Long, here at New Mexico, create some stout defenses with some suspect talent. Scheme can make up for a lot.

GET THE **** OUT OF HERE. Who the **** does NM play? Jesus Christ, talk about a stretch.

It's all relative. They couldn't out-recruit nearly anybody in the conference, but almost always had the best and most feared defense in the conference when he was there. He did it with a lot of walk-ons, too. Long was nationally respected for his defensive schemes.
