Great game. Always makes me think of what could’ve been if Butch stayed. How many championships? Would he have adapted to modern recruiting? Could he have continued to inspire players (unlike the boring Coker who won in 2001 with player talent alone ). If Butch stayed, would Saban have ever risen to national prominence?

Of course, the Canes were too cheap with coaches, staff, and facilities.
