UM to use same attendance model as Dolphins

So what's the Dolphins policy? Are they doing a lottery or by payment/donation tier? Length of time or a combination of all? Something else? How do they determine who gets to go to which games?

Miami will use to FIFO method for ticket allocation. First in First Offered - meaning the first (or longest or biggest donation )season ticket holders get offered first.

Go Canes

Thanks, longest holders vs highest payers can vary widely. Too bad I just switched out of the suite, should've waited one more year! Lol

I have no interest in going to games with 15K in the stands. If I’m sitting by myself I might as well do that at home with better views, better drinks, and A/C
And you can drink more and hit pause to go to the bathroom. And you have your grill to ensure better food.

If you really end up missing the stadium experience I'll sell you the 32 oz can of ****** beer for $10. Just let me know.

Different strokes for different folks.

I will definitely go.

Yes of course the excitement will be lessened in terms of crowd interaction, and crowd noise, and just general excitement level. And if it’s 15,000, you can still make some significant noise. I think you might be surprised. We will just have to get a whole lot louder.

But anyway, to me, seeing a game in person, that just gets my juices flowing. I like to be there, I like the smells the sights the sounds, The overall general excitement, in this case, will be attenuated to the left of the dial, markedly reduced and tempered. To me, that’s still better than watching it at home.

But everyone is different, and I don’t expect everyone to feel the same way I do.

This makes sense given it's the same stadium. My guess is up to 20%, which is fine with me.
There are a lot of questions to be answered before fans can attend games. When trying to figure out an appropriate fan attendance, the first thing is to define why we are limiting attendance. Obviously, the answer is to prevent the spread of Covid-19 among the fans. So, the question is what percentage of occupied seats and stadium seating layout guarantees fan safety? What is the maximum groups of tickets that could be sold. 2? 4? 6? How will the seats be spaced out? How will the rows be spaced out? Each occupied seat has to have at minimum 1-2 seat empty in front and behind them.

Personally, I don't even understand how fan attendance is even contemplated. Why would fans at football games be acceptable, but fans at baseball games are not?

Nothing beats the live visceral experience of being at the game. Watching at home is nice but so is a pulled pork sandwich, or would you rather a home cooked meal and served to you naked by a voluptuously rubenesque woman that offers you the desert of your choice. Both options will keep you alive but one offers only nutrition vs the latter which feeds the body and the soul, much in the same way attending a live game does.

Go Canes
( gotta wear the safety cloth while cooking)

Am I naked or is the portly server naked? If it's the former, then I'll need to know what's on the menu before I can decide. If it's the latter, I love BBQ.
