UM tabs Joe Salave'a as DL coach; Cristobal comments

I thought Salave’a was a questionable hire from the start. Here’s a guy who had never coached east of the Rockies and now he’s thrown fresh into the frying pan that is South Florida.

Connecting with Samoans (especially as a fellow Samoan) is completely different than connecting with SFLA inner city kids. And now it looks like he’s going to be one of the reasons we miss out on Shermar.

Should’ve backed up the brinks truck for Charlie Partridge.

Such a lazy post. We’ve all thought lots of players coming out of high school were going to be stars. Still takes good coaching to get the most out of them and help them develop.

A simple Google search also would’ve shown that three Oregon defensive linemen were first team all pac 12 this year. So this he hasn’t developed anyone line is nonsense.

go look at the shemar thread. maybe you wont think its lazy. again, he doesn't have a track record yet of getting guys to the league. he may get there but right now it hurts us
