UM skews their attendance numbers

No, he doesn't. Attendance numbers are announced day of the game based on tickets sold (even if the person is not there) and other people in attendance such as press, etc. A head coach does not sit down and tinker with attendance numbers at any school.

you can bet that he is influencing whoever is announcing those bogus numbers to announce it that high. he knows that other schools negatively recruit against our attendance and his comeback is showing those recruits the "official attendance numbers" game by game to try and convince them that we draw more than we actually do.

Every school except those that sell out skew their attendance numbers. It's silly to try to blame Golden for every thing you don't like.

no arguement that schools jack the numbers up but does any school do it to the magnitude that Miami does?

Just stop already, you have no clue what other schools do, and to think that Golden goes around bragging about or even mentioning our attendance to recruits is asinine. Like dk said, it's ridiculous to try to blame everything on the man.

UM has always inflated attendance figures. During the Butch years announced attendance(except for the FSU games) were always at least double the actual attendance.

They count people in the stadium not just in their seats so people on the club level and suites who are inside count as well. An there a lot of those.

Apparently they count everyone within a quarter mile of the stadium on gameday.
