UM SEASON PREDICTIONS

i predicted 3 losses I dont think we there yet but we can beat everyone on our schedule, i guess the years of bad have me thinking this way im mad cautious

I did not like what I saw out of that defense on Saturday, unless Bethune Cookman is better than anyone knows then we might be in trouble. When I thought we would have a good year I thought it would be led by our defense first, like the good old days. I thought D'nofrio was back coaching our D at points during the game on Saturday, hope I am wrong.
 
In a conversation yesterday with a CANE LEGEND he echoed what I've been saying from the beginning, 13-0. He said he expected us to beat FSU before Francois went down. To say that this team is 10-2 or worse is to say that Richt is not the right coach; that he's no better than the previous coaches. Because I'd expect that best case scenario from them.

We're favored in 11 of our 12 games and the ONE that we're not favored in is the most storied rivalry in all of college football over the last 30 years.

Very tough to predict a victory over Clemson at this point. We can hang with them, but do we have the depth in December to compete with a team like that?

i think we do. We have weapons on offense, a serviceable qb, our OL is getting better (Donaldson with 12 games under his belt by then, hopefully...) and the expected strongest part of our team played the weakest on Saturday. We'll be ready by then.

Based off of last weeks performance vs Bethune, we look like around 8-4

BUT

I expect a better performance in week 2. If the D looks lost, uninspired and over all slow with no push, it could be a long season.

The U has the potential to go 12-0 but but I think we drop 2 games somewhere.

So although we looked bad on the defensive side of the ball last week, I expect a better effort this week to set the tone going into FSU and the rest of the season.

I'll go 10-2 but anywhere from 8-4 to 12-0 would not be shocking.

I'm close. I'd say between 9-3 - 12-0. I actually would be shocked if we dropped 4 regular season games. Unless we have a rash of injuries, that's not happening.

I have a lot of faith in Richt. I didn't think we'd beat Clemson in the beginning of the season, but I think we have a good shot now. I didn't think we'd stand a chance against Alabama either and I think we can hang with them too.
