Tale of the tape (thus far)

Total Offense:
Good Guys #2
VagTech #80 (by comparison USF #57, UF #46, BSU #110)

Total Defense:
Good Guys #10
VagTech #66 (by comparison USF #103, UF #112, BSU #132)

In essence, we’ll be facing a limited offense, but this will be by far the best defense we’ll play, & even with that said they have chinks. VA Tech is #28 against the pass, BUT #103 against the run. Right now, the “weakest” component to our O is the run game, & even here we’re ranked top 35 in the nation.

If there was ever a game to impose our will, setting the L.O.S it will be this game. Cam has been phenomenal, but if there is one thing VagTech have done well this season early on is get to the QB (ranked #10 in sacks). Their run defense is leaky, so it would behoove us to take advantage of this week, on a short week.

Protecting our QB through November is most important, & some games it’s OK to beat the brakes off a foe by grinding them to grain.

Good Guys should win this game 34-14 at worst. There’s nothing that their O provides that should remotely test us. Drones is a fraud, & Key is a lunch pail coach.
Relly hit them with the lunch pail babaaaaay!

We are going to absolutely beat the fuccin' brakes off these fools. My bulb is already wet.

VTech 10 - Miami 48.

Normally we don't burn a redshirt but we keep blowing these ******* out into TKO or submission by the 3rdQ and suddenly its Poff/Emory time. Talk about first world problems. Feels good not to be a poverty program.

I just hate that its a weeknight game. Weeknight games are where ranked team's seasons go to die. Glad its at home and on Friday and not Thursday though. Far fewer upsets for home teams and on Fridays opposed to Thursdays.

Drones might be a lil hampered when he dropped back rutgers gave him issues.....seen an hilarious safety he got as his rt got bull dozed straight into his ankle.

Their d may be better than USF's though but score and apply pressure and make them one dimensional then let the dl loose on them.

VT only looks “okay” against the pass because they’ve played teams that are totally hapless passing offenses. This Miami passing attack is the best in CFB and it’s not close. Nobody has the weapons we have offensively across the board, except maybe Texas.

You’ll see as the season goes that we simply can’t be stopped offensively. Nobody we’ll face until the playoffs has the ability to do it. You simply can’t scheme it up. It’ll take a team like Texas, UGA or OSU who can match our offensive talent on defense to be able to go base defense and stop us hat on hat.

I promise you that opposing DC’s are absolutely beside themselves trying to figure out how to keep us from scoring 40 and thinking that would be a massive success if they can limit us to 40.

I hope those ****-gobblers claim they going to shock cfb by upsetting Miami. Need some bulletin board material.
They’re a pretty broken fan base at this point. It’s a funeral over on their boards. This was a team that was expected to be a dark horse ACC team and maybe even make a CFP run. 20 returning starters or something like that, and even then they suck. Most of the posts over there are expecting a blowout loss. I’ve yet to see anyone predict an upset.

Anything can happen any given game, but they’ve got issues and don’t seem to have solved any of them.

VT is 0-0 in ACC play. This is new season for them. In the past Miami would be feeling themselves after a great start, VT would play super hard be extra motvated, and game would be a dogfight.

VT will play very hard, they will give Miami a test, but I do think talent and leadership wise this team is different. See how they handle success.

When Clemson was elite, or with Alabama under Saban, UGA they would stomp lesser teams at home majority of time. They didnt have alot of letdown games.

Its one thing to have talent, but can you keep
Your team laser focused week in and week out?

If Miami was named Tennessee or UGA this line wouldve opened around -21.

USF tranches looked really good against Bama. I was shocked how dominant Miami was last night. I thought Miami needed rivers and Bain. Clearly there is better depth and Bama’s lines might not be as good as Miamis.

Still would like to see both of them back Friday night
we are better than Bama this year with a better QB

They will die. We will smile

5-0 and may sneak into top 5.
I think we'll beat them comfortably, but don't think we'll move up in the rankings for a bit. Everyone ahead of us has an argument to be ahead of us, and the games they could lose are to teams already ahead of us. Minimal movement at best for the next 2-3 weeks.

Good game for the RBs to take charge but also I feel like USF and UF Defense may be better than those numbers but they have played us and gave up 50 lol VT has played Vandy, Old Dominion, Rutgers and Marshall so I am shocked their Offensive numbers are so low and Defensive numbers are not higher tbh. I get it you play who is in front of you but when its this early in the season stats always seem slightly skewed.

Short week is worse for traveling team, that loses 1more day than us as travel day. Our run game is gonna have to show up and no reason not to with the horses we have.

I think we break out the run and run diversity in this one. I’d like to see us create pressure with 4 more consistently and vary our looks in coverage. Canes by 24
