UM OL Commit Leeward Brown keeping Options Open and is now looking around according to rivals article.

If someone wants to post details.

Rivals Article on Brown

In a previous write up on this site Brown was supposedly solid to Miami, but wanted to take visits just for fun, but it sounds like something may have changed unfortunately.

So help me, it better be because the staff found a better option and is cooling on him.

Can't fault the kid for keeping his options open if he so chooses. Very big time in the kids life. Offers comin at you from around the country. Let him explore. In the end the Malcolm, Tracy, Jermaine, and maybe Tyrek connection won't make it easy for him to leave. Not sweatin it.

I think the staff is coolin on him. Not an impressive prospect IMO

These stories always leave me scratching my head. If you aren't sure, don't commit. If you are really committed, don't take other visits. But a lot of times these young kids want to get out and enjoy the "wining and dining" experience, so to speak, that recruiting has become. And frankly, some of the programs that do the best wining and dining are moderately less likely to be willing to spend the money on a prospect who states he is solid to Miami and just wants to enjoy a few visits. In short, he might still be solid as a rock and just wanting to enjoy the process or he may really want to see what else is out there. Recruiting is basically a pain in the *** now days.

"I'm still on Miami, committed, but my recruiting process was never closed," Brown said.

He says after UM next on his list is East Carolina (which offered a day after he committed to Miami), Michigan and West Virginia - in that order.

Why is East Carolina No. 2?

"Just the bond I have with their offensive line coach," Brown said. "Me and him are cool. Whenever we talk I can joke with him, nothing phony. We keep it real. He's a down-to-earth guy like (Art) Kehoe."
