UM OC Dan Enos Press Conference

We are absolutely deficient in those area. Those deficiencies were compounded by a coaching staff who did nothing to address the issues in-game.

I’m honestly not sure how much improvement we’ll see from coaching alone. Yea perry looked bad and jarred didn’t see the field, but they had no real QB coach. Our OL looked like dog shlt, but they were being forced into the same power running play over and over.

So who knows what they’ll look like, but I’m a big believer in the ability of coaching to improve the player. And at least in the ability of coaching to hide the deficiencies of the player.
True. Our oline sucked in zone and power run lol. As for QB I’ll say this if a kid is not committed towards learning and Improving no matter who the coach is you won’t see much improvement. That’s y If I put my money on anyone rn it’s in Tate because of the maturity and him likely having more since of urgency.

All in all we don’t disagree at all lol

This whole thing about giving the illusion of complexity while in essence being simple is all the rage now. McVay has the same philosophy with the Rams.

I love the Enos hire but personally if I was a coordinator I think I would rather give the illusion of simplicity while being complex but that's just me.

Doesn't work that way. Have to show a complex scheme and then run something at varying levels of complexity. Very tough (likely impossible) to show a simple scheme and then run something complex from it. Your QB will get killed for the time it takes you to add those complex elements.

I was just being fascisious. It's late and I'm just being a bozo. Pay no attention. I agree with you btw.

“A good coach knows that no two games are the same. You might have to run it 50 times one game, and pass it 50 times another.”

Blessed be the fruit.
