UM-NC State will be prime time on National TV

I wouldn't really consider a Friday night game prime time, but it sure beats a thursday night game...

Honest question, is Susan Miller Degnan mentally retarded?

For one thing, she calls a 7:30 pm EST game "late-night". Not "prime-time", but "late-night".

Also, the game is on a Friday night, a date that has been known for months. Are there ANY OTHER time slots/networks for a FRIDAY NIGHT POWER FIVE GAME? Have I missed a bunch of 4:30 pm "mid-day" games that were only carried on a regional sports network?

Finally, she tweets this as if it is news (and she even undercuts her "breaking news" by admitting that "we already knew"), so I have no idea what the function of this tweet actually is. Does the Herald have a daily tweet quota?

Seemed oddly worded. I had no idea it had been decided so it was news to me.

"Prime Time" is defined as the hours of 8 pm to 11 pm for Monday-Saturday, and 7 pm to 11 pm on Sunday.
Yeah, I know the hours are those, I just mean in regards to sports, especially college sports. The midweek games I thought had lesser ratings, regardless?

Friday and Saturday night prime time shows get horrible ratings, unless it is sports. There are very few network or basic-cable shows that run new episodes on Friday-Saturday night.
