He has a daughter in HS and he's made it clear that he won't be moving until she's done/his current deal is up.

Its conjecture on my part. As for Patrick's contract situation I am not versed in the details but it seems reasonable to assume that something could be worked out.

If I am not mistaken, he received a 3 year extension in Dec 2018. I am not sure when that updated contract ends. Just an FYI.

Naw its been for a good min..going back to Mario Williams era. The Carolina's produce an obscene amount of dl talent..not sure why we havent been able to poach

Interesting comment about our weight room. Coach Feeley seems to be a gem of a hire at strength coach.

Was about to say the same thing. Between players and now recruits commenting, I think the team will be ready for the long haul of the season thanks to Coach Feeley.

for the sake of convo, who would be some other DL coaches that would be on posters wish list? Jess Simpson was a great hire, unfortunate how that worked out, but wish the best for him.

I don't know any up and comers. As a matter of fact the 3 I'm familiar with (outside of Patrick) are Ogeron, Haggins & Mark. I'm aware the first 2 are not possible, just DL coaches I know. Where is Mark these days? Stroud may be great, but health issues and original position on support staff makes me think there will be a more to the story going forward. @Coach Macho, you got any thoughts? Would like to hear your opinion as well as others. I think this job is EXTREMELY important for the Canes going forward.

Start with Brashard. He's the most likely to commit and is very well regarded among his teammates.
