UM buzz...

Couple of things:

- Glad N'Kosi is getting regular reps...As oppossed to Butch Jones' "leadership reps"

- Norton and McIntosh need to speak to the police:

Don't get me wrong, I'm probably more proud of Marcus Forston putting his a$$ on the line to protect members of my family and fellow alums as any other 'Cane fan...Heck, he recently helped rescue a man pinned down under a car after a drive by shooting!

The thing is, Forston knows that even having agent Drew R. and a lot of talent doesn't always mean NFL success. I think his perpective would be invaluable.

I didn’t know he ended up on the force. I know nfl is the dream but I am more proud of this sort of job for a Cane. Good for you, Marcus. Proud to have another Cane family rout their protecting the rest of us.

Yeah he was all over the news in ATL some months back.

Drew R. has misled so many Canes. No sweat of his **** if the kids fail. Drew just moves on, but I would tell my players to stay away from that dude.

Forston also never had a single season like Norton and McIntosh who have both put together back to back solid seasons

That's not true. Forston had a very solid sophomore season in 2010. The one game suspension and then he got hurt early in 2011. His mistake was not coming back for his senior year after the knee injury.

Glad he is doing well. Looks great.

Norton and McIntosh have 4.5 sacks--combined. Norton only managed 23 total tackles on the year, and outside of an 11 tackle day against a 1-8 UNC team, RJ was just as average. Both guys failed to play up to expectations. For instance, last year, Norton had 39 tackles as a rotational NT.

“You never know until they get here."

Unless you're a CIS poster, then you most definitely know exactly how good every recruit will be.

Weldon may be number 5 b/c he’s in the doghouse. Who knows when he’s not in the doghouse.
Sounds like Perry runs scout team O so it’s not like he’s just sitting there running our offense full time.

What would make you think Weldon is "in the doghouse" with Richt? You know something the rest of us don't? When there are five QBs, someone has to be #5 on the depth chart.

Failed a drug test.

Wow, all those QBs listed as competing for the starting job, including Williams, who isn't even on campus.

And then he says, "Weldon is on scholarship, too."

Ouch.

Total BS. RJ was great this year. Do you think he won defensive MVP for ***** and giggles? It’s really incredible how people will **** on our players. RJ was not “average” whatsoever. DT statistics mean very little.

Hold on bro; RJ was just as average??! RJ lived in the backfield this season. And I’ll be , RJ was held I estimate about 65% of the time on his one on one match ups. RJ was far from average this year; he was down right dominant. If he didn’t get held dang near all game, he would have about 8-10 sacks this season easily. Stats don’t always tell the truth. There’s a lot of things he did that made this front 7 dominant at times.

As a poor kid from Carol City, I am very happy for him.

Hotshot,
I’m guesssing failing a drug test will get you in the doghouse. I could be wrong.
Norton isn’t going in the 2nd round, lol.
With dts, it’s not all just about “tackles”. Sometimes they’re required to do other things. Rj was far from average.

RJ's a stud. If he was my son I'd tell him to go. I don't think it's close.
