UM Assistant Coaches Salaries

Enos' $1.5M probably came from new sources stating Miami was willing to pay top dollar for an OC, post-Richt. His salary at Bama was scheduled to jump to $875K in 2020, after his Arkansas buyout ran out. His salary at Arkansas was $800K when he was let go after Bielema was fired.

$1.5M might be too high but I wouldn't be surprised if Enos was in the $1M OC club. Miami and Manny wanted a splash hire.

I would not be surprised if Baker (DC), Stroud (DL/AHC), and Banda (Co-DC/S) weren't the next highest paid, but much less than Enos
Oh...they got a Splash hire alright.....A Swan Dive right into the middle of Lake Play-Action....

Are people really debating how many 100K Enos is making over a Million?? WTF does it matter !? We know he is making at least 1mill which is way too much for a QB coach plus bad OC.

I saw on the UGA board back when Hartley was hired, that they are paying him $300,00 with a built in raise at one year to $400,000 which is what we were paying him at UM

That's good to know. Sheds light on the question if UM pays competitive salaries to the assistant coaches. Some would have you believe they pay coaches con arroz y frijoles lol

No official record of what Miami was paying him, so only speculation. Highly unlikely Miami was paying ST/TE coach $400,000.

Oh it’s true. LSU’s DC is making close to what our HC is.
Can a new administration make a difference? Sure, but Miami is small market in spending compared to the big boys.

I'm very surprised that Aranda is THE top paid assistant in college fb.. and by such a large margin. Don't get me wrong i think he's an awesome DC but he has yet to actually win any championships in P5 football. He only has a couple WAC titles from 2010 & 2012 with Hawaii & Utah St.

Ppl rag on Diaz's scheme yet Aranda's defense also feasts on the weaklings but gets their sh*t pushed in by good offenses consistently, at both Wisconsin & LSU. Besides Aranda having a 3-4/ 3-3-5 alignment, they are very similar philosophically in being "bend don't break" defenses that rely heavily on man/ zone blitz packages, aggressive line stunts & turnovers.

I'm a big fan of his style tho, so I'm excited to watch how they hold up against Bama on Nov 9. They have an outstanding offense this year so maybe that'll help get him over the championship hump..
